Shahira, aka Cynthia Turnage, is a recognized and beloved instructor and performer dedicated to elevating the art of Middle Eastern dance as embraced and envisioned by the late Ibrahim "Bobby" Farrah.   A respected choreographer and entertainer in her own right, Shahira's career has spanned more than 25 years, including extensive time on the workshop/show circuit and in cultivating new talent and interest in this art. Shahira is currently accepting new students from the intermediate level on up. Specialties include: Oriental, Ghawazee, Cane, Sudany, Cymbal Work, Saidi, Floor & Veil, Zar, Beledi, Folk Dances, Spanish Fusion Group classes and private instruction available.
